Korea Federation of SMEs Holds the '3rd KBIZ Cultural Management Forum'

Lecture by Lee Jeong-hyun, Vice Chairman of the Presidential Commission on the Local Era

The Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business (KBIZ) announced on the 23rd that it held the '2024 3rd KBIZ Cultural Management Forum' at the KBIZ headquarters in Yeouido. The KBIZ Cultural Management Forum is regularly held to share trends related to the management environment of small and medium enterprises and to present a vision for SME management.

About 200 people attended the lecture, including Kim Ki-moon, Chairman of the Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business, chairpersons of small and medium enterprise cooperatives, representatives and executives of small businesses and micro-enterprises. At this forum, Lee Jung-hyun, who served as a member of the 18th to 20th National Assembly and as the Chief Secretary for Public Relations at the Presidential Secretariat, and is currently serving as the Vice Chairman of the Presidential Commission on the Local Era, gave a lecture on the theme of ‘Vision and Strategy for the Local Era.’


Vice Chairman Lee stated, “The concentration of population, income, and jobs in the metropolitan area is intensifying,” and added, “It is important to induce population inflow by enhancing local competitiveness through expanding jobs by fostering industry clusters suited to the characteristics of each region, improving education and medical systems, and improving the quality of life for local residents.”
