9 Experts Including Lee Won-ik, Lockheed Martin Korea Representative, to Lecture
Simultaneous On-site and Online Sessions from July 30 to August 1
On the 23rd, the Hoam Foundation announced that it will hold the summer youth online and offline lecture series "Fun&Run, 2024 Summer Cool Talk Festival" for three days from the 30th of this month to the 1st of next month at the Vision Hall of Samsung Financial Campus in Seocho-gu, Seoul.
The lecture series will be conducted under the theme of helping youth on summer vacation explore future career paths through lectures on the latest science and humanities knowledge.
Nine experts will serve as speakers, including KAIST Professor Ko Gyu-young, a Samsung Hoam Prize laureate, Korea University Professor Chae Eun-mi, POSTECH Professor Woo Jung-ah, and Lee Won-ik, Lockheed Martin Korea representative.
Professor Ko will lecture on "Exploration of Brain Protection and Cleaning," Professor Chae on "What Happens When Computers Meet Quantum?", Professor Woo on "The Artistic World of Nam June Paik," and Representative Lee on "Bi.Haeng.Gi (Airplane)."
Middle and high school students who pre-register on the Eventus website by the 26th can participate in the lectures either on-site or via Zoom. Participation is free, and on-site attendees will receive souvenirs.
Even without on-site registration, anyone can watch the lectures live through the Hoam Foundation's YouTube channel.
Since 2021, the Hoam Foundation has been providing free lectures on the latest science, humanities knowledge, and future career paths to youth every summer and winter vacation.
