Signing of Business Agreement to Promote Data Collaboration
The Small and Medium Business Corporation announced on the 23rd that it has signed a business agreement with the Korea Intellectual Property Information Service for data collaboration. This agreement was promoted to activate data-driven management of small and medium ventures through cooperation between the two organizations.
The two organizations agreed to cooperate on ▲sharing related data such as intellectual property information for providing big data analysis services ▲promoting education on utilizing patent information to support technology development and management strategy establishment ▲jointly fostering excellent startups engaged in intellectual property services ▲mutual cooperation for policy project implementation.
In particular, through this agreement, the Small and Medium Business Corporation will actively utilize ‘Biz Pathfinder,’ a data analysis platform that combines accumulated data and artificial intelligence (AI) technology from past support projects such as policy funds, export marketing, and workforce development.
By linking patent-related data held by the Korea Intellectual Property Information Service to the Small and Medium Business Corporation’s Biz Pathfinder, data-based analytical information usable for business management, such as statistics related to small and medium ventures, growth path prediction, and customized policy project recommendations, will be provided.
Kim Moon-hwan, Director of Corporate Finance at the Small and Medium Business Corporation, said, “Data-driven management using big data and AI is a key factor in enhancing corporate management efficiency,” adding, “We expect that this agreement will create synergy through cooperation between the two organizations to promote innovative growth and the spread of data-driven management for small and medium ventures.”
