Kenkoreaerospace is expanding its global customer base at one of the world's top three airshows.
Kenkoreaerospace announced on the 23rd that it will participate in the '2024 Farnborough Airshow' held at Farnborough Airport in the UK until the 26th of this month (local time).
Kenkoreaerospace plans to showcase its competitiveness in the aerospace sector to the global market by participating together with its affiliate, Kenkorea Aviation. The company intends to introduce its business capabilities ranging from aircraft airframe manufacturing to defense MRO (maintenance, repair, and overhaul) and UAM (urban air mobility) foundry. Kenkorea Aviation is an affiliate specializing in avionics and UAM batteries.
At this airshow, meetings are scheduled with global aerospace and defense companies such as Airbus Defense & Space, Blue Origin, Daher, Dassault, and Hyundai Motor Group's UAM affiliate Supernal. Active discussions on new business opportunities are expected.
The Farnborough Airshow, held every even-numbered July, is the world's largest aerospace exhibition and is considered one of the world's top three airshows alongside the Paris and Singapore Airshows. In 2022, it served as a platform for exploring diverse business opportunities within the global aerospace industry, with 1,262 companies from 44 countries participating.
Kenkoreaerospace was selected as one of the 12 companies supported by Gyeongnam Province and will participate in the Gyeongnam SME Pavilion, while Kenkorea Aviation will join the Incheon SME Pavilion. With the government actively supporting the newly launched Aerospace Administration this year, Kenkoreaerospace plans to conduct sales activities emphasizing its key businesses and technological capabilities.
A company representative stated, “Following the Paris and Singapore Airshows, CEO Min-gyu Lee is personally leading the team at the Farnborough Airshow, promoting Kenkorea’s growth potential, technological prowess, and business capabilities while commanding the global sales front. Customers have been meeting CEO Min-gyu Lee and Kenkorea for over 10 years at the world’s top three airshows and are amazed by Kenkorea’s growth. We expect to continue our rapid growth by securing orders from top-tier clients in the second half of the year following the orders received in the first half.”
