Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, attended the 'Mapo District Public Library Policy Sharing Meeting' held in the large conference room of Mapo District Office on the afternoon of the 22nd.
About 20 officials from Mapo District public libraries, including the Central Library and small libraries, gathered to share the second quarter operational performance and third quarter plans of each library.
In addition, the attendees took time to exchange opinions and discuss ways to revitalize the public libraries.
On that day, Mayor Park Gang-su said to the public library officials, "I hope today's meeting will be a meaningful time to explore the direction of library operation policies and development plans for the second half of the year," adding, "Mapo District will spare no support and attention not only to the revitalization of libraries but also to improving your working environment."
