Obtaining Certifications: A Two-in-One Benefit for Health and Happiness
Cheongsong County, North Gyeongsang Province, began the 'Level 2 Senior Art Instructor Certification Course' for 28 female farmers at the Cheongsong County Agricultural Technology Center on the 16th.
This educational program started on the 16th and will run every Tuesday and Thursday until August 29, with each session lasting four hours per day, for a total of 15 sessions and 60 hours.
The Senior Art Instructor certification is designed to help seniors regain self-esteem and find meaning and maturity in later life by introducing new methods of self-expression and the joy of immersion.
This course covers senior art instruction that aids in self-integration, psychological understanding and approaches for seniors, and various art tool techniques. The classes combine theory and practical training.
County Governor Yoon Kyunghee said, "Through the training of senior art instructors, we will support local seniors so they can lead physically and emotionally healthy and happy lives. We will continue to do our best to strengthen and cultivate professional expertise in the future."
