This 14-day, 13-night training program is being attended by 42 students, including 25 from the AI Software major and 17 from the Japan Cloud major, both part of the Department of Computer Information's Japan IT program, who are spending their summer vacation in Japan.

Youngjin College: 28 Students Pass Local Recruitment Exam While Training in Japan Students from the Computer Information Department at Youngjin College, currently on a study trip in Japan, are visiting the company at the invitation of MIC Co., Ltd. in Tokyo, Japan, and listening to a corporate presentation.

The main programs of the training include practical Japanese conversation for business, presentations on projects related to their majors, visits to Japanese IT companies, and participation in the Tokyo alumni association, among other diverse activities.

The highlight of this training is the recruitment interviews with local Japanese companies. On the 12th, students Kim Ilgon and Park Suheon attended the final interview at ASCEND, a company headquartered in Tokyo, and received their acceptance notices on the spot. Kim Ilgon, who was accepted by a mid-sized IT company about to go public, said, "At the company information session held in Korea, I heard from alumni who said they were very satisfied working there, so I really wanted to get accepted. I am so happy to have passed the final interview during the 'interview training' period."

Among the students participating in the training, 17 who had already been accepted by Japanese companies such as JCOM and Kyocera (KCME) before departure visited their future workplaces during the training, familiarizing themselves with the company atmosphere and strengthening their resolve for joining.

Kim Beomchang and Park Jeongmin (female), who have secured employment at MIC Co., visited the company's office in Shinjuku, Tokyo, and had the opportunity to interact with company officials and alumni currently working there.

The alumni association of the Department of Computer Information in Tokyo also stepped up to encourage the students undergoing training. Sixty-two alumni arranged a meeting with the students and delivered a scholarship of 157,000 yen (about 1.38 million KRW) as a gesture of support.

Seo Heekyung, a professor from the Department of Computer Information who is leading the training, stated, "Company representatives we met here in Japan unanimously praise the skills of our students. One company official commented that students from Youngjin College's Japan IT program have such excellent expertise and Japanese language ability that they could be put to work immediately." She added, "Thanks to this positive atmosphere, about 80% of the graduating students from the Japan IT program have passed their recruitment interviews."

Regarding this training, Lim Deokseong, head of the Department of Computer Information (professor), said, "Thanks to outstanding results in employment in Japan, our students were able to participate in this training through the 'K-Move School Project' and 'Cheonghaejin Project' supported by the Human Resources Development Service of Korea. We expect next year's graduates to achieve the nation's best overseas employment results as well."
