Samsung Asset Management Launches 3 KODEX Target Premium ETF Series... "Net Assets Surpass 500 Billion Won"

Samsung Asset Management announced on the 22nd that the total net assets of the three Target Premium ETFs?‘KODEX US AI Tech TOP10+15% Premium’, ‘KODEX US 30-Year Treasury +12% Premium (Synthetic H)’, and ‘KODEX US Dividend +10% Premium Dow Jones’?have surpassed 500 billion KRW.


Since their listing at the end of April, the net asset sizes of the three Target Premium ETFs are 276.7 billion KRW for KODEX US AI Tech TOP10+15% Premium, 177.5 billion KRW for KODEX US 30-Year Treasury +12% Premium (Synthetic H), and 47 billion KRW for KODEX US Dividend +10% Premium, totaling 501.2 billion KRW. The total net purchase amount by individual investors reached 326.2 billion KRW, with 200.4 billion KRW, 99.3 billion KRW, and 26.5 billion KRW respectively. The KODEX US AI Tech TOP10+15% Premium, listed at the end of May this year, surpassed 200 billion KRW in net individual purchases within just 38 trading days after listing.


Samsung Asset Management’s Target Premium ETFs?KODEX US AI Tech TOP10+15% Premium, KODEX US 30-Year Treasury +12% Premium (Synthetic H), and KODEX US Dividend +10% Premium?invest respectively in US AI tech stocks, US 30-year Treasury bonds, and US dividend growth stocks. They are designed to maintain a certain level of market participation while utilizing part of the assets for call option writing, enabling the payment of target premiums as monthly dividends.


These ETFs are structured across diverse asset classes: US AI tech stocks expected to benefit from AI industry growth, US 30-year Treasury bonds anticipated to gain capital appreciation in case of US interest rate cuts, and US dividend growth stocks well known through the SCHD ETF. They meet investors’ demanding needs by combining high monthly dividends with investments tailored to individual preferences and market outlooks.


Funds from investors who have directly confirmed the high monthly dividend yields and market participation rates are rapidly flowing in. At the end of June, dividends of 156 KRW for KODEX US AI Tech TOP10+15% Premium, 106 KRW for KODEX US 30-Year Treasury +12% Premium (Synthetic H), and 101 KRW for KODEX US Dividend +10% Premium were paid. All three KODEX Target Premium ETFs pay dividends on the 2nd trading day of the following month based on the last trading day of each month. Therefore, if purchased by the 29th of this month, investors can receive the Target Premium-based dividends on August 2nd.
