Han Donghoon Nominee and Park Wansu Gyeongnam Governor Hold Talks ... "Support Needed for Tourism Industry"

Han Donghoon, candidate for the People Power Party leadership, met with Park Wansu, Governor of Gyeongnam Province, on the 21st to discuss local issues.


The meeting was also attended by party Supreme Council member candidates Park Junghoon (Seoul Songpa-gu Gap), Jang Donghyeok (Chungnam Boryeong-Seocheon), and Jin Jongoh (proportional representative) members of the National Assembly.

Candidate Han stated, "Gyeongnam is a region where industries such as machinery, defense, nuclear power, shipbuilding, and aerospace are thriving," adding, "I believe the entire nation of Korea should follow Gyeongnam's lead."


Governor Park commented, "Gyeongnam has developed as a manufacturing hub and serves as the foundation for Korea's traditional key industries, with the aerospace sector now added," and continued, "I believe it is now time to focus on new businesses with high added value."

He further stated, "Moving forward, we must not only strengthen the foundations of society, welfare, and culture, but also invest in service industries such as tourism," emphasizing the need for government support for the tourism industry and the reduction of tolls on the Changwon-Geogadaegyo Bridge.
