The Joint Chiefs of Staff announced that North Korea has released approximately 360 filth balloons toward South Korea as of 5 p.m. on the 21st.

According to the Joint Chiefs, the filth balloons released by North Korea since the morning are still being identified in the air, and about 110 of them have fallen in northern Gyeonggi and Seoul.

The contents of the balloons were mostly paper, and there were no hazardous materials for safety.

North Korea sent filth balloons again on this day, three days after the 18th. This is the ninth time this year.

In response to North Korea's filth balloons, the military has been operating fixed loudspeakers deployed on the western, central, and eastern fronts in relay since the 18th.

On the fourth day, when North Korea released filth balloons again, the military expanded the operation from 1 p.m., turning on all fixed loudspeakers in the front-line areas simultaneously.
