On the 21st, the Seoul metropolitan area, Gangwon Province, and Jeju Island are expected to experience a temporary rain shower in the afternoon, with most regions showing signs of the monsoon weakening. After the rain stops, Gangwon Province, Chungcheong region, southern areas, and Jeju Island will have heatwave warnings with maximum apparent temperatures rising up to 33℃, and some parts of Gangwon Province have been issued strong wind advisories.

The Korea Meteorological Administration forecasted, "As of 10 a.m., there are places in the Seoul metropolitan area and Gangwon Province where rain is falling at less than 5 mm per hour, and in most other areas, raindrops are falling at less than 0.1 mm or the rain is showing signs of weakening."

The daytime temperature is expected to be between 27 and 33℃, similar to the previous day. However, a heatwave warning has been issued for the eastern part of Jeju Island, and heatwave advisories are in effect for ▲Gangwon Province (Gangneung Plain, Donghae Plain, Samcheok Plain, Sokcho Plain, Goseong Plain, Yangyang Plain, Hongcheon Plain, southern mountainous areas of Gangwon) ▲Chungcheongnam-do (Cheonan, Gongju, Asan, Nonsan, Buyeo, Cheongyang, Dangjin, Hongseong) ▲Chungcheongbuk-do (Cheongju, Okcheon, Yeongdong, Chungju, Jincheon, Eumseong, Jeungpyeong) ▲Jeollanam-do (excluding Heuksando and Hongdo) ▲Jeollabuk-do (excluding Jinan and Jangsu) ▲Gyeongsangbuk-do ▲Gyeongsangnam-do ▲Jeju Island (western, northern, southern, and northern mid-mountainous areas of Jeju) ▲Daejeon ▲Gwangju ▲Daegu ▲Busan ▲Ulsan ▲Sejong.

Strong wind advisories are currently in effect for Gangwon Province (Gangneung Plain, Donghae Plain, Taebaek, Samcheok Plain, Sokcho Plain, Goseong Plain, Yangyang Plain, Jeongseon Plain, northern mountainous areas of Gangwon, central mountainous areas of Gangwon, southern mountainous areas of Gangwon) as well as Ulleungdo and Dokdo.

The Korea Meteorological Administration stated, "In the areas with heatwave warnings, including the eastern coast of Gangwon, some inland and southern mountainous areas of Gangwon, Chungcheong region, southern areas, and Jeju Island, the maximum apparent temperature will rise above 33 degrees, making it very hot. Most regions nationwide will also experience maximum apparent temperatures around 31 degrees, causing heat and a high risk of heat-related illnesses. We urge people to refrain from outdoor activities and going out."
