Gyeongbuk Province announced on the 21st that Mijori Glove Co., Ltd. has donated relief supplies worth approximately 20 million KRW, including gloves and boots, to support disaster relief efforts in areas affected by heavy rainfall.
At the donation ceremony held on the 19th, Baek Eokhyeon, CEO of Mijori Glove Co., Ltd., said, "Although the relief supplies may not be much, I wanted to realize the social value of sharing with those suffering from the disaster, which is why I made the donation."
After Mizori Gloves donated 20 million won worth of flood relief supplies, company officials are taking a commemorative photo with Lee Cheolwoo, Governor of Gyeongbuk Province (right).
The donated items will be delivered to the Gyeongbuk branch of the Korean Red Cross and then distributed to disaster victims and field recovery workers who suffered significant damage from the heavy rainfall since the 6th.
Mijori Glove Co., Ltd., located in Chilgok-gun, is a company that produces safety items such as industrial gloves and miscellaneous goods. In March 2022, the company also donated gloves worth about 9 million KRW to support recovery from the Uljin wildfire.
Lee Cheolwoo, Governor of Gyeongbuk Province, said, "I would like to express my deep gratitude to CEO Baek Eokhyeon for his support in the recovery efforts from flood damage. The valuable relief supplies, including gloves, will be entrusted to the Red Cross and delivered to the cities and counties in need, where they will be put to good use."
