Simultaneous Investigation into Luxury Bag Bribery and Doich Motors-Related Allegations
The prosecution conducted a private investigation of First Lady Kim Keon-hee, wife of President Yoon Seok-yeol, at a third location.
According to the legal community on the 21st, the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office Criminal Division 1 (Chief Prosecutor Kim Seung-ho) and Anti-Corruption Investigation Division 2 (Chief Prosecutor Choi Jae-hoon), which are investigating allegations of luxury bag receipt and Deutsche Motors stock manipulation involving the First Lady, respectively, summoned her to a government security office within the jurisdiction of the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office for a face-to-face investigation the previous day.
A prosecution official stated, "We requested her appearance regarding the complaints against the First Lady, and after consultation, for reasons of security and safety, she was summoned to a government security office within the jurisdiction of the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office for a face-to-face investigation."
