Supreme Council Members Jeong Bong-ju, Kim Byeong-ju, Jeon Hyeon-hui Ranking
In the party member voting held in Incheon following Jeju to elect the leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, candidate Lee Jae-myung maintained first place with 93.77% of the vote.
In the regional tour party leader primary held on the afternoon of the 20th at Namdong Gymnasium in Incheon, candidate Lee secured 93.77% of the party member vote, taking first place. Candidate Kim Doo-kwan received 5.38%, and candidate Kim Ji-soo received 0.85%. The Democratic Party's election commission conducted online voting for party members in the Incheon area over two days starting the previous day.
Earlier, candidate Lee had also won decisively with 82.5% in the first regional primary held in Jeju on the same day.
In the Incheon regional supreme council member primary, the results were tallied as follows: Jeong Bong-ju (23.05%), Kim Byung-joo (16.48%), Jeon Hyun-hee (13.01%), Lee Eon-ju (12.61%), Kim Min-seok (12.21%), Han Jun-ho (10.09%), Min Hyung-bae (6.33%), and Kang Seon-woo (6.23%).
The regional tour primaries will be held a total of 15 times and will conclude in Seoul on the 17th of next month.
At the party convention held on the 18th of next month, one party leader and five supreme council members will be decided by combining delegate voting (online) at 14%, party member voting (online + ARS) at 56%, and national public opinion polling at 30%.
