Lee Jun-seok: "Yoon is a rare case... He will send congratulatory messages to Han Dong-hoon and then remove him"

"If Han Dong-hoon Becomes Party Leader, President Yoon Will Remove Him"
"He Acts a Week Ahead... The Democratic Party Is Also Involved"

Lee Jun-seok, a lawmaker from the Reform New Party, claimed that if candidate Han Dong-hoon becomes the leader of the People Power Party, President Yoon Seok-yeol will immediately move to remove him. On the night of the 19th, Lee appeared on CBS Radio's 'Park Jae-hong's One-on-One Match' and said, "President Yoon is a rare case," adding, "He should not be understood through conventional methods."

He explained by citing a past case where he clashed with President Yoon and was pushed out of the leadership position through disciplinary action by the Ethics Committee. Lee said, "Generally, after winning the presidential and local elections, people say 'thank you' to the party leader and do not cause a fuss," reflecting, "So even if there was some conflict, since good results were achieved in the presidential and local elections, I thought Lee Jun-seok and Yoon Seok-yeol would get along reasonably well."

He continued, "After winning big in the local elections, the Yoon core officials (Yoon President's key associates) called me a lot saying 'Let's set up a dinner appointment,'" and explained the situation at the time, "The Yoon core officials said, 'We won the election, would the president try to catch Lee Jun-seok?' and 'We have been nagging Lee Jun-seok all along,' and they bought me expensive meals even though I had more than a year left in my term."

Lee said, "But after about one to two weeks, the president started causing trouble again," and predicted, "If Han Dong-hoon becomes the party leader, the president will send congratulatory flowers but will start the expulsion within a week." When asked by the host, "What kind of operation will it be?" Lee predicted, "Right now, conservative YouTubers have started a fierce attack on Chairman Han Dong-hoon. To attack an island, you first fill the moat, then break down the outer walls, and then go to break the gates. They will follow such procedures."

He also added that there is a possibility that President Yoon might accept the special investigation law on Han Dong-hoon proposed by the Democratic Party. Lee explained, "Even if the president himself does not step forward, the Democratic Party is outside the fortress," and said, "The Democratic Party will conduct the siege on its own, and various operations will be possible."
