Coway Icon Ice Water Purifier Wins Energy Grand Prize at 'Energy Winner of the Year' Awards

Prime Stand Water Purifier, Power-Up Air Purifier, and Seuseuro Care Bidet Also Awarded

Coway announced on the 19th that its Icon Ice Water Purifier won the top award, the "Energy Grand Prize and Korea Energy Agency President's Award," at the 27th Annual Energy Winner Awards. Coway was recognized for its excellence in energy-saving technology by winning four awards, including the Energy Grand Prize, Energy Efficiency Award, and Energy Technology Award.

Hosted by the Citizens' Coalition for Economic Justice and sponsored by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, the Ministry of Environment, and the Korea Energy Agency, the "Energy Winner Awards" are given annually to products with outstanding energy efficiency or those that have achieved carbon neutrality. At this year's Energy Winner Awards, Coway's Icon Ice Water Purifier received the Energy Grand Prize, the Prime Stand Water Purifier won the Energy Efficiency Award, the Powerup Air Purifier received the Energy Technology Award, and the Self-care Bidet was honored with the Energy Winner Award.

The Icon Ice Water Purifier was highly evaluated for incorporating innovative energy-saving technologies such as a high-efficiency ice evaporator, a sealed cold water system, and a highly integrated instantaneous hot water system, which reduce power consumption and lead product miniaturization. The high-efficiency ice evaporator, a core component for ice production, improves refrigerant movement efficiently to shorten ice-making time and reduce energy consumption. Additionally, the sealed cold water system with high cooling efficiency directly cools the cooling coil to quickly and stably produce cold water while enhancing hygiene.
