Yangsan Mayor Na Dongyeon Performs Harmonica and Collaborates
The '2024 The Classic Yangsan All That Classic' concert, sponsored by Yangsan City, Gyeongnam and hosted by KNN, was successfully held on the evening of the 18th at the Grand Performance Hall of the Yangsan Culture & Arts Center.
Demonstrating the passion of citizens who had been eagerly awaiting authentic classical music, all seats for the concert were sold out a week in advance, and on the day of the event, the venue was bustling with audience members who arrived early.
This concert, featuring the KNN Broadcasting Symphony Orchestra conducted by Seo Heetae, with guest performers cellist Hong Jinho, soprano Seo Sunyoung, and tenor Kwon Jaehee, presented beloved opera masterpieces such as Rossini's 'The Barber of Seville Overture', Puccini's 'Madama Butterfly', and 'Turandot', receiving enthusiastic responses from the citizens of Yangsan.
In particular, Mayor Na Dongyeon's harmonica performance, accompanied by the KNN Broadcasting Symphony Orchestra, offered the audience a unique pleasure with impromptu renditions of 'Oppa Saenggak' and 'Arirang'.
The citizens of Yangsan responded with great cheers to the unexpected collaboration between Mayor Na's harmonica performance and the orchestra, saying, "Although it was a classical concert, it was enjoyable because we could listen to familiar pieces."
Mayor Na Dongyeon expressed his thoughts, saying, "I hope that the '2024 The Classic Yangsan All That Classic' concert, held on a summer night, became a beautiful and wonderful gift of comfort and healing for the citizens of Yangsan who are weary from daily life."
