Chungnam Province announced on the 19th that it will provide 300 million KRW in support to establish a foundation for the growth of social economy enterprises.
In response to concerns about the weakening foundation for the growth of social economy enterprises, the province recently selected 26 social economy enterprises from 14 cities and counties through a public contest.
The 26 companies selected through the contest will receive a total of 381 million KRW to support product development, promotion, and other activities.
Kim Kwandong, Director of Economic Policy, said, "We will support social economy enterprises that realize diverse social values so that they can discover new revenue models and establish a foundation for self-sustaining growth."
