Jjuyang "Ex-boyfriend's lawyer reported to foot-and-mouth disease... Legal action for secondary damage"

The Informant Is the Ex-Boyfriend's Lawyer... Not an Advisor to Tzuyang's Side

Mukbang YouTuber Tzuyang (real name Park Jung-won) has revealed evidence of being threatened by lawyer Choi, who defended 'Cyber Rekka' Guje-yeok and her ex-boyfriend Mr. A.

On the afternoon of the 18th, Tzuyang, together with her legal representative, lawyer Kim Tae-yeon of Taeyeon Law Office, stated during a YouTube live broadcast, "I learned a shocking fact yesterday," and revealed, "I found out that the person who reported my private life, secrets, and false information to Guje-yeok was a lawyer for my former agency." She added, "That person is not my lawyer. He was the dedicated lawyer for the former agency CEO (Mr. A, my ex-boyfriend). I thought the case was over after I sued the former agency CEO, but malicious reports continued, and later emails were sent to Guje-yeok. The materials were only accessible to the former agency and lawyer Choi. So I believed they broke their promise and proceeded with a second lawsuit."

She continued, "Two days after Mr. A passed away, lawyer Choi contacted me to meet," and said, "I was mentally very exhausted, so the director and PD went to meet him. He said he was running an air freshener and deodorizer business and gave the director and PD some products," while also releasing an audio file containing lawyer Choi's demands at that time.

In the audio file, lawyer Choi said, "Please help the business a little. Just once. I'm really struggling. I want to be a minister. You just need to spray our product. I keep wondering whether I should take revenge while writing my will," and added, "I want to be president. The product I make, if Jung-won just eats meat once and sprays it, is that so hard? It would be great if you just sprayed it once."

Tzuyang said, "After hearing that, I was very scared that he might expose me, so I asked the director and PD to appease lawyer Choi. Although promoting air fresheners did not fit the channel's character and I had to refuse, I decided to draft a contract for media-related work that lawyer Choi, who also works as a journalist, could perform as a journalist, and agreed to pay him 1.65 million KRW per month." She emphasized, "The total amount paid so far is a little over 23 million KRW. This has been somewhat exaggerated, leading to misunderstandings that he is our legal advisor. I have never actually met him in person nor appointed him as my lawyer."

Additionally, it was understood that lawyer Choi, while defending Mr. A, reported information related to Tzuyang's past to Guje-yeok. Tzuyang explained, "Guje-yeok sent an email containing a video link and asked for a reply. He sent a scary email saying, 'I can't wait indefinitely. If there is no reply, I will assume you have no opinion.' He said, 'There is content 100 times worse behind this.'" She added, "It seemed like he was revealing stories I did not want to disclose, so I contacted staff, and the PD and director met with Guje-yeok. After that, I was forced to sign an unwanted contract and paid 55 million KRW." Lawyer Kim added, "According to the video content sent by Guje-yeok, he claims that Tzuyang committed tax evasion, but in reality, Tzuyang was completely unaware of how much the company earned or how expenses were handled at that time."

Tzuyang's side: "Second damage is serious... additional lawsuit for false reports such as 'conditional meetings'"

She also appealed that secondary damage is occurring due to Cyber Rekka YouTubers and others, and introduced additional legal actions taken. Tzuyang said, "I never did anything absurd like 'conditional meetings' mentioned in the phone conversations between lawyer Choi and Guje-yeok. Since such false information is spreading as if it were true, I sued Jeon Guk-jin, who released the content without verification, and the woman who made the false report." She emphasized, "Even when I briefly worked under the former CEO's coercion, it was at an entertainment bar with no sexual contact. I also have chat messages from the former CEO who mentally controlled me and conspired to send me to a place with stronger demands to make money."

"I don't want more victims" - Reason for the broadcast revealed... Suwon District Prosecutors' Office raids Guje-yeok and Jeon Guk-jin

Tzuyang said, "I felt very helpless seeing so many baseless falsehoods without verification or evidence increasing. I wanted to hide. But hiding wouldn't solve anything, and people around me kept getting hurt," and explained the background for conducting the second live broadcast, saying, "So I decided to confront it head-on, hoping no one like me would suffer anymore." Lawyer Kim also added, "How can a lawyer misuse client information and extort money from someone in a difficult situation? We persuaded Tzuyang, and she made a very difficult decision. Tzuyang is no longer just an individual. There must be many victims like her."

Meanwhile, on the same day, the Suwon District Prosecutors' Office obtained search warrants for the residences of Guje-yeok and Jeon Guk-jin and began a forced investigation. The court stated in the warrant, "The suspects conspired to extort money by threatening the victim (Tzuyang) with exposing her private life to the public if she did not pay." It further specified, "The suspect met with the victim's agency director and general PD and said, 'There is a Cyber Rekka association, and it seems they also received reports. I want about 50 million KRW in exchange for taking down two videos I produced and managing YouTubers who try to expose the victim's private life,' and received 55 million KRW from the victim."

This case became known after the YouTube channel Garosero Research Institute claimed, "Tzuyang was threatened by other YouTubers using the fact that she worked at a bar in the past as leverage." Guje-yeok denies all charges related to this. Guje-yeok stated, "I bow my head to Tzuyang and her fans, but I never extorted or threatened Tzuyang. The money was first requested (and given) by Tzuyang's side to prevent exposure."
