Cho Kyuhwa, the chairperson of Suseong District Council in Daegu, has been elected as the president for the second half of the 9th Daegu City District and County Council Chairpersons' Association.
Chairperson Cho was elected as the president for the second half during the meeting of the Daegu City District and County Council Chairpersons' Association held at the Dalseo District Council on the 17th. For the next two years, he will represent and lead the association of chairpersons from the nine basic district councils in Daegu.
Chairperson Cho is a four-term council member who began his legislative career with the 6th Suseong District Council and has served through the 9th term. He previously served as the vice chairperson for the second half of the 8th Suseong District Council and is currently serving as the chairperson for the second half of the 9th term.
Cho Kyuhwa, the newly appointed president of the Daegu District and County Council Chairpersons' Association, said, "I will strive to promote regional development and address pressing issues through mutual cooperation among the district and county councils of Daegu," and added, "I will do my best to ensure that the association becomes a platform for communication and collaboration."
