Daily Morning Change Routine, Sharing Best Practices
20 Teams Selected, Additional School Operating Funds Provided
The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education is ramping up efforts to further activate the nationally recognized 'Achimcheinji' program.
The Busan Office of Education (Superintendent Ha Yoonsoo) announced on the 18th that it will host the 'Our School Achimcheinji Pride Contest' for elementary, middle, high, and special schools until September 30.
This contest aims to foster an exciting and enjoyable atmosphere for participating in 'Achimcheinji' as part of daily life and to share outstanding examples and achievements.
Any school community operating the Achimcheinji program can participate. Participants are required to produce a 1-3 minute video showcasing their ongoing Achimcheinji activities or related materials and submit it via email by the end of September.
The Busan Office of Education will select and announce a total of 20 teams on October 10 through a screening process, awarding the following prizes: Achimcheinji Award, Most Viewed Award, Best Editing Award, Entertainment Award, and Idea Award. Winning schools will receive additional funding to support Achimcheinji operations.
Ha Yoonsoo, Superintendent of the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education, stated, "This contest will serve as an opportunity for the entire educational community to participate joyfully in Achimcheinji activities and to share outstanding examples from other schools," adding, "The Office of Education also plans to support the normalization of Achimcheinji activities in daily life by hosting illustration and essay contests."
Meanwhile, 94% of schools in the Busan area, or 596 schools, are currently participating in 'Achimcheinji,' a voluntary physical activity program conducted before the start of the regular curriculum.
