Up to 0.6% Cashback at Domestic Franchise Stores
NH Nonghyup Card announced on the 18th that it has launched the overseas payment specialized card, 'NH Travel Check Card.'
The NH Travel Check Card is a travel card (specialized card for overseas travel) that allows payments and withdrawals in local currency without the won conversion process when making payments or withdrawals abroad. It features an automatic recharge service that automatically converts and withdraws from the won account if the foreign currency balance is insufficient. As of the launch date, the convertible currencies include 20 types such as US Dollar (USD), Japanese Yen (JPY), and Euro (EUR).
Nonghyup Card has prepared various benefits such as overseas fee waivers and free lounge access. Fees are waived when making payments at overseas merchants or withdrawing cash at overseas ATMs or counters. However, fee waivers for overseas ATM and counter use are limited to 10 times per month. With the Mastercard Travel Rewards (MTR) service, users can receive up to 10% cashback on payments at over 400 famous merchants worldwide. Free airport lounge access is available once a year if the previous month's spending exceeds 300,000 KRW. Lounge benefits can be accessed through The Lounge application (app).
Domestically, cashback benefits can be received unlimitedly without any previous month spending conditions. A 0.2% cashback benefit is provided on spending at domestic merchants. When paying with NH Pay at domestic online merchants, a 0.3% cashback benefit is offered. For categories such as coffee shops, convenience stores, and public transportation, 0.6% of the payment amount is returned.
The overseas usage limit for the NH Travel Check Card is 5,000 USD per transaction and per day, with a monthly limit of 20,000 USD. The limit can be increased up to 50,000 USD. Nonghyup agricultural and livestock cooperative products are scheduled to be launched in September after linked service development. Detailed information can be checked on the NH All One Bank and NH Smart Banking applications (apps).
A Nonghyup Card official stated, "Nonghyup Card has introduced a travel card that has become an essential item for overseas travel," and added, "We ask for much interest in the NH Travel Check Card, which has strengths not only for overseas travel but also for domestic use."
