Team Sparta Acquires Software Development Company 'WePlanet'

WePlanet is a software development company with 13 years of establishment, equipped with development capabilities that can efficiently execute planning, design, development, and launching of mobile and web services across various fields within a short period. It holds diverse outsourcing references through collaboration with numerous companies and has practical service operation experience by building and operating its own commerce service.

TeamSparta plans to expand new talent development opportunities by supporting more than 4,000 junior developers annually, who graduate from its online coding education business, to participate in outsourcing development projects. Since WePlanet has a structure where excellent senior planners and developers in each organization can support junior developers, junior developers nurtured by TeamSparta will gain quality jobs and growth experiences, while WePlanet will secure excellent development personnel, fostering a virtuous cycle and driving growth together.

CEO Lee Beom-gyu of TeamSparta said, “We expect that the planning and development capabilities possessed by WePlanet, combined with TeamSparta’s successful experience in the coding education business and IT talent network, will maximize innovation in the outsourcing business,” adding, “Both companies will work closely together to create a structure that allows continuous growth and advance as an innovative IT development company.”
