On the 18th, Renault Korea announced the pricing for the Grand Koleos as follows. For the gasoline turbo 2WD model, the Techno trim is priced at 34.95 million KRW. Following that, the Iconic trim is set at 38.6 million KRW, and the Esprit Alpin at 39.95 million KRW. The gasoline turbo 4WD model is released only in the top-tier Esprit Alpin trim, priced at 43.45 million KRW.
The E-Tech hybrid model is priced between 39.2 million and 44.95 million KRW. After receiving eco-friendly vehicle certification and applying tax benefits, the Techno trim will be available at 37.77 million KRW, Iconic at 41.52 million KRW, and Esprit Alpin at 43.52 million KRW.
The Grand Koleos is a new vehicle introduced by Renault Korea for the first time in four years since the XM3 in 2020. It was developed independently by Renault Korea, not by the French headquarters. It is currently being mass-produced at the Busan plant and exported to over 30 countries including Europe.
It features the largest wheelbase in its class at 2,820 mm (distance between front and rear wheels) and is composed of 18% ultra-high-strength 'Hot Press Forming (HPF)' parts in the body structure.
The E-Tech hybrid applies a dual-motor system consisting of a 100 kW driving electric motor and a 60 kW high-voltage starter motor. It is equipped with the largest battery capacity in its class at 1.63 kWh and a 1.5L gasoline turbo engine, delivering 245 horsepower. The 2.0 gasoline turbo engine produces a maximum output of 211 horsepower paired with a 7-speed DCT transmission.
The official fuel efficiency for the gasoline turbo 2WD model is 11.1 km per liter on a combined basis. The gasoline turbo 4WD model is rated at 9.8 km per liter. The hybrid vehicle's combined fuel efficiency ranges from 15.0 to 15.7 km per liter.
For the first time in a domestic model, the display extends to the front passenger seat, allowing enjoyment of online video services (OTT). 5G data will be provided free of charge for five years. The 'Active Driver Assist' system, which corresponds to Level 2 autonomous driving, is standard on all trims. Real-time T-map navigation and the voice recognition system 'NUGU Auto' are also provided as standard features.
