'Energy Grand Prize' 6 Consecutive Years · 'Carbon Neutral Winner Award' 3 Consecutive Years
Total 7 Products Awarded
Samsung Electronics announced on the 18th that it won the 'Energy Grand Prize' for six consecutive years and the 'Carbon Neutral Winner Award' for three consecutive years at the '27th Energy Winner Awards' hosted by the Citizens' Coalition for Economic Justice and sponsored by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, the Ministry of Environment, and the Korea Energy Agency. Samsung Electronics also received the 'Energy Saving Award' and the 'Energy Technology Award,' with a total of four products receiving the 'Energy Winner Award.'
The 'Energy Winner Awards' consist of the 'Energy Winner Award,' given to products with excellent energy-saving and high-efficiency performance, and the 'Carbon Neutral Winner Award,' given to companies or products with outstanding activities and achievements related to carbon neutrality.

The Energy Grand Prize and the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Award at the 'Energy Winner Awards' were awarded to the 'Galaxy Book4 Edge.' This product provides a more innovative and secure artificial intelligence (AI) PC experience through 'Hybrid AI,' which supports both on-device and cloud AI. It also enhances energy efficiency by adopting low-power components and high-efficiency circuits, applying power management technology, reducing standby power by 50%, and improving power efficiency by 80% compared to previous models. The system standby power was reduced through patented variable voltage control technology and the addition of a new dedicated standby power circuit, and the power efficiency ratio (performance-to-power efficiency) was significantly improved by using a new Qualcomm processor and low-power device components.
The 'Energy Saving Award' was given to the 'Wind-Free Air Conditioner Wall-Mounted,' which achieved first-class cooling energy efficiency by applying an outdoor heat exchanger with excellent heat transfer performance and a high-efficiency refrigerant. When the AI saving mode is activated on SmartThings, this product can save up to 30% of energy consumption, and it automatically switches to power-saving mode after a certain period if no indoor movement is detected by the motion sensor, thereby conserving energy.
The 'Energy Technology Award' was awarded to the 'Bespoke AI Induction,' which applies high-efficiency inverter control technology and is equipped with a vibration detection sensor that automatically adjusts the heat power with the 'AI Boil Detection' function, reducing unnecessary energy consumption. Additionally, GPS technology detects when the user leaves, alerts that the induction burner is operating, and allows the power to be turned off. This controls unwanted heating states, reducing safety concerns and preventing energy waste.
Other products selected for the 'Energy Winner Award' include the Bespoke Cube Air Infinite Line, Bespoke AI Hybrid, Bespoke AI Combo, and Bespoke Grande Dryer AI products.
This year's 'Carbon Neutral Winner Award' was given to the Bespoke Cube Air Infinite Line air purifier, recognized for its reusable filter that does not require periodic replacement, effectively reducing disposable waste. With this, Samsung Electronics has won the 'Carbon Neutral Winner Award' for three consecutive years.
