Electric shock victim repairman pulled out with a rope
An 82-year-old grandmother saved a man in his 60s who was electrocuted while repairing electrical equipment in Thailand. The grandmother revealed that she learned how to respond to electric shock accidents through YouTube videos, drawing public attention.

On the 17th, local media including the Bangkok Post reported that on the 8th, a man in his 60s was electrocuted while repairing electrical equipment at a house in Chonburi Province, eastern Thailand. Surveillance camera footage showed the electrician climbing a ladder to fix the electricity when he suddenly started trembling and convulsing, then lost consciousness. It was reported that the electrician was electrocuted after accidentally touching a metal gutter that was conducting electricity.

Seeing this, the grandmother immediately ran to the electrician, tied a rope around his ankle, and pulled him. After the electrician fell from the ladder, the grandmother promptly performed CPR, and fortunately, the electrician regained consciousness about a minute later. He was then transported to the hospital by the arriving rescue team and is currently reported to be out of danger.
The grandmother pulling the electrocuted electrician with her own hands was a dangerous situation where she could have been electrocuted as well. However, she stated that she had learned how to respond to electric shock accidents through YouTube videos. Local media reported, "The grandmother became a hero by saving a life with the knowledge she gained from YouTube."
