Saewool Headquarters Construction Site No.2 and Seosaeng-myeon Red Cross Volunteer Group Conduct Environmental Cleanup Activities

The Saeul Nuclear Power Headquarters of Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power (Head: So Yoo-seop), 2nd Construction Office (Director: Lee Yonghee), carried out an environmental cleanup activity together with the Seosaeng-myeon Red Cross Volunteer Group in the Ganjeolgot area of Seosaeng-myeon, Ulju-gun on the 17th.

With the summer vacation season approaching, the Seosaeng-myeon Red Cross Volunteer Group, a local volunteer organization in Seosaeng, requested the participation of the Saeul Headquarters 2nd Construction Office in the environmental cleanup activity to provide a pleasant environment for visitors to local attractions such as Ganjeolgot and to protect the marine ecosystem.

Kim Hyukgwan, head of Seosaeng-myeon, about 30 members of the Seosaeng-myeon Red Cross Volunteer Group, and about 10 employees from the Saeul 2nd Construction Office collected various types of litter, including plastic bags and cigarette butts, discarded around Ganjeolgot and the surrounding coastal areas.

Ban Youngsook, the president who participated in the volunteer activity, said, "Thank you for always coming to help whenever needed," and added, "I hope you will continue to show great interest in the local community in the future."

The Saeul Nuclear Power Headquarters 2nd Construction Office plans to continue carrying out volunteer activities that local residents can directly experience, in order to maintain smooth communication with the community.
