Gyeonggi Province will conduct food safety education for 55 food manufacturing and processing companies in the province that have poor food manufacturing environments or have received administrative sanctions for violating the Food Sanitation Act, until November.
In this food safety education, Ottogi Co., Ltd. and CESCO will participate as professional training institutions to provide practical content such as legal document preparation methods and pest control management techniques, which business operators find difficult.
In particular, Gyeonggi Province will also provide customized on-site consulting for three companies among the 55 that wish to participate. Ottogi Co., Ltd. and the consulting specialist organization FoodWontec Co., Ltd. will participate in the consulting.
Inchikwon, Director of Food Safety Division of Gyeonggi Province, stated, "If follow-up guidance and management are not carried out for priority management businesses with poor sanitary environments, it can lead to food safety accidents," and added, "We hope this project will foster a voluntary hygiene management environment in food manufacturing and processing businesses."
