Created 'Information Pattern (QR Code) Guide' for Easy Access to Standard Market Price and Official Price Inquiry
Quick and Accurate Lookup of Building and Land Standard Market Price, Housing Official Price
Nation's First! Preventing Information Blind Spots for Vulnerable Groups, Enhancing Resident Convenience and Civil Complaint Satisfaction
Yeongdeungpo-gu (District Mayor Choi Ho-kwon) announced that it will produce and distribute an ‘Information Pattern (QR Code) Guide’ to allow easy and quick access to the standard market value of buildings and land as well as the official housing price at a glance.
The standard market value of buildings and land and the official housing price are essential information to be checked in advance for real estate acquisition tax reporting, registration application, basic pension and old-age pension calculation, and public officials’ property registration. Although these can be checked through ETAX and the Real Estate Official Price Informer, the inconvenience arises from having to search for each piece of information separately as they are scattered.
Accordingly, the district produced the ‘Information Pattern (QR Code) Guide’ to enable fast and accurate inquiry of the standard market value and official price. Notably, this guide is the first case nationwide to integratively provide information that is frequently inquired about in tax administration.
The guide contains information patterns (QR codes) that allow immediate access to ▲building standard market value ▲land standard market value ▲official prices of multi-family housing (apartments, row houses, multi-unit houses) ▲official prices of individual houses (detached, multi-family). This adds convenience by gathering scattered information in one place. Scanning the information pattern (QR code) connects directly to the inquiry screen for the standard market value and other data. It can be used on various devices such as mobile phones and tablet PCs.
The district expects that the ‘Information Pattern (QR Code) Guide’ will prevent seniors and foreigners from being left in information blind spots and improve civil service satisfaction by enhancing convenience for residents.
The guide will be placed at the district office and community service centers until the end of July so that visitors can easily check the information. Additionally, it will be distributed to about 500 law offices in the area.
Choi Ho-kwon, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo-gu, said, “By gathering and providing the previously scattered standard market value and official prices together, we expect to greatly reduce the inconvenience for residents during tax reporting and registration.” He added, “We will continue to implement various policies tailored to residents’ perspectives and carry out resident-centered administration.”
