Ahead of Official Release on the 6th, Pre-Orders Open
Optimized for AI Features... Improved Performance Including Image Quality
Microsoft Korea (MS) has introduced two new PC products that offer a new artificial intelligence (AI) experience. They will be officially released on the 6th of next month, with pre-orders starting on the 16th. Pre-orders are available both online and offline through stores such as Coupang and Hi-Mart.
Earlier in May, MS unveiled a new Windows PC category called the 'Copilot+ PC,' designed with AI technology. It reconfigures all elements of the PC?from chipset to operating system, application layer, and cloud?around AI.
The two new products are the first Surface Copilot+ PCs. They provide an AI experience that runs directly on the device without an internet connection and feature high-performance Qualcomm processors for fast computational processing speeds.
First, the 'Surface Pro 11th Edition' offers excellent portability with easy switching between tablet and desktop modes. It delivers an optimized AI usage environment with performance that is 90% faster than the previous model.
The ultra-wide Quad HD front camera supports various AI functions, and the rear camera is equipped with a 10MP Ultra HD sensor capable of recording videos in 4K quality. Users can easily edit videos using built-in software.
It features a powerful battery that allows up to 14 hours of video playback and supports a stable internet environment through Wi-Fi 7. It is available in 13-inch OLED or LCD HDR display models and comes in four colors. The base model (Snapdragon X Plus (10 Core), LCD display, 16GB RAM, 256GB SSD) starts at 1,549,000 KRW.
The Surface Laptop 7th Edition boasts the slimmest and most sophisticated design ever. It supports performance that is 86% faster than the previous model, making it suitable for various AI usage environments such as multitasking, high-performance tasks, and entertainment.
It features a PixelSense touchscreen display with thin bezels for a wider viewing area. Dolby Vision IQ automatically provides optimal image quality, and adaptive color technology adjusts colors according to the surrounding environment. The built-in camera and sound have also been significantly improved.
The Surface Laptop is available in two screen sizes: 13.8 inches and 15 inches. The 13.8-inch model offers up to 20 hours of video playback, while the 15-inch model offers up to 22 hours. The base model of the 13.8-inch version starts at 1,549,000 KRW.
Pre-orders are available through Coupang, Naver Surface Brand Store, Hi-Mart (online and select offline stores including Jamsil/World Tower locations), Hyundai Department Store (The Hyundai Seoul/Pangyo), and Gmarket Microsoft Online Store.
