Lunar New Year Promotion with Artificial Intelligence (AI)... Gwangjin-gu Produces Comprehensive Promotional Video for District Publicity

Gwangjin-gu (District Mayor Kim Kyung-ho) is stepping up its district promotion by producing a comprehensive promotional video to mark the 2nd anniversary of the 8th term of the elected government.


The promotional video is a comprehensive piece covering the district's major projects, history, culture, and tourism. It introduces local characteristics and landmarks based on six core strategies: balanced development, safe environment, economic vitality, mutual welfare, culture and education, and open communication.


The promotional video was produced in three parts: a comprehensive video, a hot place introduction video, and the Gwangjin Song, reflecting the interests of different demographic groups. In particular, the short-form Gwangjin Song created using generative artificial intelligence attracted attention.


The production of this promotional video was enhanced by the talent donation activities of the Little Angels Art Troupe located in the region. The Little Angels Art Troupe is a children's traditional arts performance group with deep history and tradition, playing a key role in the composition of this promotional video and providing great assistance.


Yoo Jong-heon, the head of public relations, said, “We judged that a comprehensive promotional video introducing Gwangjin-gu was necessary and saved about 50 million won in budget through in-house production. We can actively promote the district at various events such as visits to exchange organizations and signing ceremonies. We produced three videos tailored to the main interests of each demographic group and plan to use them appropriately according to the characteristics of each event.”


Kim Kyung-ho, Mayor of Gwangjin-gu, said, “I thank everyone who participated in the production of this promotional video. I hope it will serve as an opportunity to widely promote our district’s major projects and local attractions, injecting vitality into regional development.” He added, “We will continue to create a more developed Gwangjin-gu through more communication. We ask for your continued interest and support.”
