Z Flip and Fold6 Combined Pre-Sales Exceed Previous Models
"Indian Consumers Respond Quickly to New Technology"
Samsung Electronics' foldable phones, Galaxy Z Flip and Fold6, which are currently available for global pre-order, have recorded sales 40% higher than their predecessors in India.
According to Samsung Electronics India’s newsroom on the 17th, the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6 combined recorded sales 40% higher than the previous models within 24 hours after the pre-order started on the 10th.
Raju Pulan, Senior Vice President of the MX Division at Samsung Electronics India, said, "The increase in pre-order sales compared to the previous models means that Indian consumers are among the fastest to respond to new technologies."
It was reported that the sales volume in Korea, where pre-orders are ongoing, is similar to that of the previous models.
On the 10th, Samsung Electronics held 'Galaxy Unpacked 2024' in Paris, France, unveiling the Galaxy Z Fold and Flip6, along with new wearable devices including the Galaxy Buds 3, Galaxy Buds Pro, Galaxy Watch Ultra, and Galaxy Watch 7.
