First, they will carry out prevention activities against reckless driving through prior publicity and guidance using social networks such as SNS, electronic billboards, and VMS. They plan to identify expected areas where reckless motorcycle gangs may appear through 112 reports and SNS analysis, and prevent damage in advance by conducting focused patrols and on-site crackdowns.

During enforcement, they will strongly crack down on violations by utilizing all available personnel and equipment, including traffic police, local police, and riot squads.

Additionally, in collaboration with the Korea Transportation Safety Authority and others, they plan to continuously crack down on illegal tuning of headlights, mufflers, steering devices of cars and motorcycles, as well as intentional obscuring of license plates.

A Jeonnam Police Agency official stated, “We will strive to eradicate illegal acts that cause dangers on the road through continuous enforcement and investigation activities against reckless and violent driving.”
