Korea Racing Authority Changwon Branch Donates Summer Bedding Sets to Changwon Special City

The Changwon branch of the Korea Racing Authority donated 200 sets of summer blankets worth 10 million KRW to Changwon Special City, Gyeongnam, on the 17th.

This project was selected as a grant program by the Changwon branch of the Korea Racing Authority and is being carried out through the Changwon City Community Social Security Council. The 200 sets of summer blankets will be delivered to low-income households in Changwon.

Park Jeongjin, head of the Changwon branch of the Korea Racing Authority, said, "We hope that this support of summer blankets will help low-income families have a cool summer. We will continue to contribute to creating a society where we empathize with and support the vulnerable in our community."

Jang Geumyong, the First Deputy Mayor, expressed gratitude by saying, "Thank you for practicing sharing for the community every year during difficult times. I hope today's act of sharing, made with sincere hearts, brings small happiness to our neighbors in need."

Meanwhile, since its opening in 2005, the Changwon branch of the Korea Racing Authority has participated in various social contribution projects using horse racing profits since 2009, giving back to the community and contributing to the promotion of a culture of sharing.
