Suseong Webtoon-Naver Webtoon, K-Webtoon Supply Contracts with US, Japan, and China

Suseong Webtoon announced on the 17th that its Webtoon IP division has officially signed a content supply contract with Naver Webtoon and is targeting overseas markets.

Through the supply contract with Naver Webtoon, Suseong Webtoon will provide webtoons not only to Naver Webtoon but also to Japan's LINE Manga, eBookJapan, North America's Tapas, and China's Dongman. Initially, two works, "I Am a Villainess but I Picked Up the Male Lead" and "Since I Tasted It, Gulp!", will be supplied to Naver Webtoon. These works will also be available on Spain's Manta, China's Kuaikan, Thailand's Comico, as well as platforms in Taiwan and Indonesia.

Suseong Webtoon plans to supply an additional 17 works within the year, starting with the global supply of K-webtoons. They are promoting the expansion of webtoon IP into games, animation, web dramas, and OTT dramas.

Suseong Webtoon is servicing K-webtoons in 11 languages through the webtoon platform of its subsidiary, Toomics Global. Membership began to increase during the COVID-19 pandemic, and with the recent NASDAQ listing of K-webtoons, overseas recognition has risen, reaching a cumulative membership of 57 million.
