Naver announced on the 17th that it will launch the 'Store Growth' program to help improve the technological literacy of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) by utilizing commerce solutions.
Starting from today, Naver will pilot the program for four weeks targeting up to 100 sellers in the Living, Kids, Leisure, and Pet categories who have never used Smart Store's technological tools or commerce solutions before.
The program aims to support SMEs seeking growth methods after starting a Smart Store by providing consulting and growth points so they can directly apply various commerce solutions to their own stores and enhance their solution utilization capabilities.
Education will be provided to help participants complete weekly missions according to the solution usage guide, starting from actively using benefit tools such as customized coupons or events for each customer, supplementing product information, utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) effectively for marketing, to running search advertisements. Additionally, participating sellers will be given growth support points that can be used in various ways for solution usage and marketing.
Through this, it is expected that sellers will improve work efficiency and marketing effectiveness by utilizing technologies suited to their store’s characteristics, thereby helping to increase transaction volume. According to Naver, sellers who actively use various marketing and technological solutions for both existing and new customers have seen their annual cumulative transaction volume grow more than twice compared to before utilization.
Naver plans to continue related support by expanding the categories of participants in the future. Kang Kyung-don, leader of Naver’s Seller Growth Business Team, said, "We will continuously provide segmented SME support programs at each growth stage so that Naver and various sellers can grow together."
