In particular, to create an eco-friendly industrial complex, the district unit plan and basic management plan include recommendations for the use of eco-friendly renewable energy such as solar power in each industrial facility upon occupancy.
Woo Byung-bae, Director of the Industrial Location Division of Gyeonggi Province, stated, "The development of the Gimpo Hakun 5 General Industrial Complex within the Gimpo Gold Valley, the largest industrial cluster in the northwest metropolitan area, is expected to create synergy effects through linkage with surrounding industrial complexes such as the Incheon Geomdan Industrial Complex."
