No Soyoung, director of the art museum 'Art Center Nabi,' who is currently in a divorce lawsuit with SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won, has announced that she will not appeal the court's ruling requiring eviction from the SK Seorin Building.

On the 15th, Lee Sang-won, the legal representative of Art Center Nabi, stated in a press release, "Art Center Nabi has decided not to appeal the first-instance ruling in the lawsuit filed by SK Innovation demanding the return of the art museum."

He added, "Going forward, Art Center Nabi will continue its best efforts to wisely overcome the current difficulties and bring about positive changes in society."

On the 21st of last month, Judge Lee Jae-eun of the Civil Division 36 at the Seoul Central District Court ruled partially in favor of the plaintiff, SK Innovation, in the real estate return (eviction) lawsuit filed against Art Center Nabi.

The court ordered, "The defendant (Art Center Nabi) must return the real estate and pay damages amounting to 1,045,602,810 KRW." It also stated that until the real estate is returned, a monthly maintenance fee of approximately 24 million KRW must be paid.

Art Center Nabi, located on the 4th floor of the SK Seorin Building in Jongno-gu, Seoul, is the successor to the Walkerhill Museum, which was operated by No Soyoung's late mother-in-law, Park Gye-hee, since 1984. It transformed into a media art specialized museum in 1997 and reopened at the Seorin Building in December 2000.

The specific schedule for the museum's eviction and relocation has not yet been determined. However, the planned exhibition and educational programs for the second half of the year at Art Center Nabi are expected to face disruptions.
