Mr. A stated, "I am filming this video to apologize to the victim for the incident that happened 20 years ago," and continued, "From 2004 until now, the victim has lived through unimaginable pain, and through this video, I want to say that I am deeply, deeply sorry."

He added, "I was very scared and hesitant to make this video, and as time passed, I wanted to hide and avoid it even more," and said, "I know that no matter how much I apologize, it will be difficult to be forgiven, but I sincerely apologize once again."

He went on to say, "I am truly sorry even for apologizing now," and added, "I will never forget this for the rest of my life, and I will continue to reflect and apologize as I live."

Beneath the video, a message read, "If time passes and the victim chooses to forgive, I promised to provide compensation then. Currently, the victims are refusing material compensation from the perpetrators."

Although Mr. A claimed in the video to be a perpetrator of the incident, it has not been officially confirmed whether he is actually one of those involved in the case.

The Miryang group sexual assault case refers to an incident in 2004 in which 44 high school students in the Miryang area sexually assaulted a middle school girl over the course of a year.

At the time, the Ulsan District Prosecutors' Office, which investigated the case, sent only 10 perpetrators to trial and 20 to juvenile detention centers. The rest either reached settlements with the victim or were not included in the complaint, resulting in no prosecution.

The case has recently drawn renewed attention and sparked controversy over private sanctions after some YouTubers disclosed the identities of suspected perpetrators.
