Free Operation Until September 1
On the 16th, Anseong City in Gyeonggi Province announced that it will open a free outdoor swimming pool in Anseong Matchum Land starting from the 19th as the heat intensifies.
The outdoor swimming pool, which will be open until September 1, operates daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. It is closed every Wednesday.
The outdoor swimming pool at Anseong Matchum Land, which opened last year, is popular among citizens for its clean water quality, spacious resting areas, and the constant presence of safety personnel. In addition to the swimming pool, Anseong Matchum Land also features a year-round sledding area, Anseong Matchum Camping Site, and an astronomy science center.
This year, the city added a youth pool and operates three sections, while also providing resting spaces such as a floor fountain and shade shelters.
Kim Bora, mayor of Anseong City, said, "We will operate the Anseong Matchum Land outdoor swimming pool without any issues so that citizens can spend a safe and enjoyable summer with their families."
