The Yeongdeok County Association for the Improvement of Rural Living in North Gyeongsang Province participated in the '2024 North Gyeongsang Province Association for the Improvement of Rural Living One Mind Contest' assignment activity presentation held in Gyeongsan City on the 12th and won the Excellence Award.
This event, held under the theme 'The Future of North Gyeongsang Agriculture and Rural Communities, with the Sweat of the Association for the Improvement of Rural Living!', featured a variety of programs including an opening ceremony, awards for outstanding members, a low birthrate performance, and assignment activity presentations by city and county.
In particular, the assignment activity presentations by city and county members showcased their honed skills through performances such as line dancing, Nanta, creative mask dance, and Gakseori performances. The Yeongdeok County Association, with 11 members participating, won the Excellence Award with their creative mask dance performance.
Kim Gyehwa, president of the Yeongdeok County Association for the Improvement of Rural Living, said, "Despite being busy with farming, our members gathered every week since February for education and practice, and I feel a great sense of accomplishment. As female leaders in the region, this has become an opportunity for us to strengthen our resolve to take the lead in volunteer work and regional development together with our members."
