The Gumi Cultural Foundation in North Gyeongsang Province is launching the 'Gumi Culture Leader School,' a program to nurture young cultural planners and designers as part of its Gumi cultural workforce development project. The program is divided into a cultural planner training course and a designer training course.
The cultural planner training course will begin with a lecture by Shin Dahye, CEO of the youth culture planning group Feel the Feel, and will feature various case studies from experts in local cultural content and festival fields. The program also includes activities to strengthen practical skills such as business plan writing, mentoring, and benchmarking.
The designer training course will offer practical design and management know-how from Ha Jihoon, CEO of Paika Studio, and Sim Youngmin, CEO of Jsha. Participants will also gain hands-on experience in differentiating concepts, storytelling, and enhancing expressive skills needed in the field.
Lee Hanseok, CEO, said, "We hope this project will nurture many young cultural professionals and serve as a foundation for the Gumi cultural industry," adding, "We plan to continue fostering talent to lead the region's culture in the future."
The business briefing session, which will include special lectures from experts, will be held at 7 p.m. on the 30th at the Media Lounge in the Gumi Visual Media Center. Any young person aged 19 to 39 can apply, with online applications open from July 15 to July 29.
