Mediazen announced on the 16th that it has signed a contract with the education company NE Neungyule to build an artificial intelligence (AI) digital textbook platform. Through this contract, they will begin full-scale commercialization preparations as a business partner, starting with the Korean language subject.
The company stated, “We will strengthen our edutech business based on our large language model (LLM) technology and various AI engines,” adding, “We will establish a differentiated strategy for AI digital textbooks.”
The AI digital textbooks are scheduled to be gradually introduced each year starting next year, beginning with elementary, middle, and high school math, English, information, and special Korean language subjects. The service for 3rd and 4th grade elementary Korean will start in 2026. Mediazen’s strategy is to systematically integrate long-term vision and technology into the emerging AI digital textbook market and expand it.
A Mediazen representative said, “We will accelerate the development of a competitive platform that incorporates educational chatbot technology applicable to various subjects, including Korean language utilizing AI language technology.”
Meanwhile, in May, Mediazen officially launched Rokitoki, a public English education service developed in-house based on its AI speech engine. By enhancing the LLM-based chatbot function, the company aims to strengthen its AI edutech experience and capabilities in the B2B (business-to-business) and B2G (business-to-government) sectors.
