Over 720 million won in points accumulated and delivered since 2017
SPC announced on the 16th that it has provided Happy Point worth 40 million KRW in support of the Green Umbrella Child Fund to children at risk of food insecurity during the vacation period.
The SPC Happy Point support program is designed to prevent child meal problems that occur during vacations by providing children at risk of food insecurity with Happy Point cards preloaded with points that can be used like cash at over 6,600 SPC-affiliated stores nationwide, including Paris Baguette, Baskin Robbins, Dunkin, Pascucci, and Bizeun. This is SPC's flagship social contribution activity, which has been ongoing for eight years since 2017.
Through the Happy Point support program, SPC has delivered a cumulative total of approximately 720 million KRW worth of Happy Point to about 15,000 children nationwide over 16 sessions from the summer vacation onward.
The Happy Point cards are issued in the same form as those used by regular customers so that children do not feel alienated or stigmatized, and with a wide variety of menu options and numerous brand stores, children can conveniently use them anytime and anywhere.
An SPC representative stated, "Happy Point support is a social contribution project that only SPC Group, with its diverse brands, numerous stores, and IT technology, can carry out," adding, "We hope that through this Happy Point support, children in welfare blind spots can have a healthy vacation."
