[Featured Stock] Greenplus, Trump Reelection Chances Rise "Ukraine Reconstruction... Smart Farm 'Highlighted'"

Greenplus is showing strong performance. It is interpreted that stocks related to Ukraine reconstruction are gaining attention as the possibility of former President Trump’s re-election increases. Greenplus operates a smart farm business based on the highest level of technology and know-how in Korea.

As of 10:15 AM on the 16th, Greenplus was trading at 10,490 KRW, up 400 KRW (3.96%) compared to the previous trading day.

On the 13th of this month, during an outdoor election campaign in Butler, Pennsylvania, former President Trump was grazed on his right ear by a bullet fired by an assassin. This has led to speculation that Trump’s support base has become more united, smoothing his path to the presidency. As a result, the increased possibility of Trump’s re-election has raised expectations that the Russia-Ukraine war could come to an end. Former President Trump has consistently mentioned the end of the war.

Greenplus holds smart farm technology as a reconstruction-related stock. Smart farms combine existing agricultural technology with information and communication technology to remotely control the growth environment of crops, maintaining optimal conditions to maximize crop growth rates at low energy costs.

Researcher Lee So-jung from Sangsangin Securities explained, "Due to global warming, abnormal weather and pests are becoming more frequent, and with the decrease in farming population and arable land, demand for smart farms is continuously increasing. The domestic smart farm coverage area is expanding by about 10% annually."

Researcher Cho Eun-hae from LS Securities said, "The global smart farm market is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 17% from 2022 to 2027, reaching a market size of 35 billion USD (48 trillion KRW). Greenplus’s smart farm business division has a high-margin business structure capable of achieving a gross profit margin of around 25% through vertical integration related to material costs such as steel frames and screens."
