The Korea Technology Finance Corporation announced on the 16th that Kim Dae-cheol, head of the Seoul Western Regional Headquarters, has been appointed as the new standing director.
Standing Director Kim Dae-cheol was born in 1968 and graduated from Dongam High School and the Department of Metallurgical Engineering at Kookmin University. He earned a master's degree in law from Yonsei University and a doctorate in engineering from Sungkyunkwan University. He joined the Korea Technology Finance Corporation in 1992 and has served as head of the Public Relations Office, head of the Human Resources Department, and head of the Seoul Western Regional Headquarters.
He is an expert well-versed in the corporation’s core tasks of technology evaluation and technology finance, and authored the Korea Financial Training Institute’s textbook "Basics of Technology Finance." Having obtained a doctorate in technology management, he also serves as an adjunct professor at the Graduate School of Technology Management at Sogang University.
He will be responsible for tasks such as business planning, performance evaluation, and support for business recovery, and his term will last until July 15, 2026.
