Eunpyeong-gu, Seoul (Mayor Kim Mi-kyung) announced on the 16th that it has secured the 'Dalbit Children's Hospital' supported by the Ministry of Health and Welfare.
Dalbit Children's Hospital is a hospital or clinic selected and supported by the Ministry of Health and Welfare to provide prompt outpatient services for mild pediatric patients during weekday nights and holidays. Children who suddenly fall ill at night or on holidays can receive quick outpatient care from pediatric specialists without having to visit the emergency room.
Starting from the 1st of next month, the newly designated Dalbit Children's Hospital will be Eunpyeong Central Pediatric and Adolescent Clinic (4th floor, Lotte Mall Eunpyeong, Jingwan-dong). It will operate year-round from 10:00 AM to 7:30 PM on weekdays, and from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM on weekends and public holidays.
Eunpyeong Central Pediatric and Adolescent Clinic, opened in 2022, is equipped with two consultation rooms, a child development center, and an infusion room, specializing in pediatric care. Three specialists with extensive pediatric experience will work on rotation during weekends and holidays.
Through medical cooperation with Eunpyeong St. Mary's Hospital, Severance Hospital, and others, a prompt referral system is in place for pediatric patients when necessary. An agreement with the nearby Palm Plaza Pharmacy allows pharmacy services during Dalbit Children's Hospital operating hours.
Eunpyeong-gu has actively promoted the attraction of Dalbit Children's Hospital to pediatric clinics within the district to address pediatric medical gaps and improve children's medical welfare.
