'Annoying Couple' Encountered on Limousine Bus to Incheon Airport
'Chin' on Both Front Seat Legs... "Driver Seems to Ignore It"
Netizens Outraged... "It Must Smell", "Birds of a Feather"
A story has sparked controversy after a couple sitting on an airport limousine bus traveling to and from Incheon Airport was seen putting their feet up on the front seat.
On the 15th, a post titled "Airport Limousine Live" was uploaded to an online community. The author, Mr. A, opened by saying, "How could someone live their life putting their feet up on a fully occupied limousine bus?"
In the photos Mr. A shared from inside the airport limousine, a couple sitting side by side on the bench seat directly behind the bus driver can be seen with their feet resting on the seats. The person presumed to be female had black ankle socks on while putting her feet up, and even reclined the seat back enough to inconvenience the passenger behind. The person presumed to be male had bare feet resting on the front seat.
This behavior was clearly visible in the driver’s rearview mirror as well. Mr. A explained, "You can see feet above the driver’s head in the mirror. The driver was fully aware of this behavior but seemed to recognize them as strange people and didn’t say anything about it."

Mr. A added, "The people with their feet up appeared to be a young Asian couple," and criticized, "For some, this could be their first impression of our country, and I felt deeply embarrassed in front of the foreign passengers sitting behind. The driver must have been shocked as well." He continued, "People putting their legs on head cushions are often seen in movie theaters too," and said, "I hope selfish people who only think of themselves disappear."
Netizens who read the story responded negatively with comments such as, "It must smell," "Birds of a feather flock together," "If even one of the two felt it was strange, they wouldn’t have behaved like that," "I hope they get married," "The driver probably knew it was weird and just pretended not to notice," "It’s so embarrassing in front of foreigners," and "I can smell their feet just from the photo."

Meanwhile, putting feet up on the front seat and causing discomfort to others is not a first-time issue. In July last year, a story went viral about a man sitting in the back row of a recliner movie theater kicking the front seat with his feet and then putting his bare feet up, sparking public outrage. Recliner theaters have adjustable backrests and wider, softer seats than regular theaters, so such incidents are often witnessed.
In April this year, a netizen visiting a movie theater in Busan revealed a story where three out of four people in a group had their legs up on the front seat, causing controversy. The witness, Mr. B, shared his shock, saying, "They were boldly putting their feet up as they entered the theater."
