Guro-gu (District Mayor Moon Heon-il) held a meeting from the 8th to the 12th at the district office's Creative Hall with 47 parents from local elementary, middle, and high schools.
The district stated that the meeting was organized to communicate with parent representatives from 57 schools in Guro-gu and to explore directions for the development of educational support projects, aiming to make Guro-gu a "city good for studying."
On the 8th and 9th, meetings were held with parents from 26 elementary schools and special schools, followed by meetings with parents from 14 middle schools on the 10th, and 14 high schools on the 12th.
The meeting was attended by Guro-gu Mayor Moon Heon-il, as well as presidents of parent associations and parent operating committees from each school. Mayor Moon shared the current status of district administration and the 2024 educational support projects, engaging in communication with the parents.
Going forward, Guro-gu plans to review the suggestions received during the parent meetings and promptly reflect them in the educational support projects.
