Gwanak-gu 'Joyful Commute, Hardworking Organizational Culture' Campaign

Gwanak-gu (District Mayor Park Jun-hee) is making various efforts to create an honest organizational culture through cooperation between labor and management.

On the 15th, the district held a “Happy Commute, Hardworking Organizational Culture” campaign targeting all employees in the district office lobby during the morning commute hours.

Organized by the labor union, a clean government slogan contest was held under the theme “Happy Commute,” selecting eight phrases with active interest and participation from employees.

The selected slogans include ▲With Integrity, Tomorrow Gwanak!! ▲Make Gwanak Honest GO, Eliminate Corruption GO ▲If you ride the Integrity Circulation Bus, everyone can sit together ▲If you change your perspective, it’s always spring ▲In the Youth City Gwanak, the Integrity City Gwanak, and others.

On this day, employees directly held placards featuring the selected slogans from the contest and participated in the integrity campaign, receiving high attention from commuting employees and reaffirming their commitment to integrity.

Park Jun-hee, Mayor of Gwanak-gu, and Lee Young-gi, Deputy Mayor, also participated in the campaign. They handed out roses with happy messages and leaflets of the “Mutual Practice Code of Conduct that superiors and subordinates must voluntarily comply with” to employees arriving at work, taking the lead in fostering an honest organizational culture.

The “Integrity Gwanak Policy Promotion Team” was newly launched this year to establish an operational foundation for anti-corruption and integrity policies and to secure momentum for promoting integrity initiatives in each department. Since March, it has been composed of the district mayor as the head and senior officials at grade 5 or higher, regularly holding meetings to improve an honest organizational culture.

Additionally, to build consensus among employees on an honest culture and spread positive awareness, the district held an “Integrity Sketch Exhibition” on the 10th. The exhibition showcased a total of 60 works, including calligraphy of integrity phrases and pen sketches created by the district mayor, deputy mayor, and district office employees, strengthening everyone’s commitment to integrity.

Park Jun-hee, Mayor of Gwanak-gu, said, “To effectively improve organizational culture, the most important thing is a heart that cares for and communicates with each other,” adding, “Together with the newly launched ‘Integrity Gwanak Policy Promotion Team,’ we will do our best to create a happy workplace by preparing a code of conduct that everyone can accept.”
